I thought this assignment was going to be really cool because someone would be thrilled that I randomly gave them a soda. Unfortunately, my experience was much less eventful.
Daniel and I never drink or buy soda... but a recipe called for cans of Coke that I would be soaking meat in. They did not sell soda in packs that had less than 12 cans so I was left with 6 extra cans. I decided that I would take one of the cans to school and randomly hand it to someone. I walked into my first class and realized I only know about five of the other students in my class. When class ended, I walked up to a guy I didn't know and asked him if he wanted a Coke. He looked at me kinda weirded out and I explained that I didn't do anything weird to it. Then he just shrugged and said, "Yea sure, I guess I'll take it." Then he walked away.
I was surprised that he took it because it's not like we were standing at a vending machine and an extra soda popped out. I was just hoping he saw my ring so he knows I am married. If I were him and some random girl asked me if I wanted a soda, I would think she liked me, or that she is a creeper. I am one of three girls in the class so I am assuming he knows I am in his class which makes it worse. Out of all of the people in my class, I randomly walked up and gave it to him. That isn't very normal.
Well, he hasn't tried talking to me since so I am very relieved. It was kinda fun throwing him off so much so maybe I will take Shayne Clarke's advice and I will buy stuff for people randomly just to mess with them.
Good times. Good times.
